How to Order
Q. I would like to place an order, what are my options for ordering?
A. Your school or store can order directly through Books of Discovery by either:

4) ordering online by clicking on the For Schools/Wholesale link on the left hand side of this page. You must contact us ahead of time to set up access to our wholesale pages.

Q.
I’m an instructor and use Trail Guide in my classroom, how do I request a desk copy?
A.Visit this page on our website to request your desk copy.

Trail Guide to the Body Instructor Field Guide/Backpack CD
Q. I cannot open the Backpack CD.
A. Make sure you are opening the CD through My Computer and then your CD-Rom drive (usually the D: drive).

Q. Do you have instructions on how to use the Backpack CD?
A. Yes: Follow this link for our Backpack CD tutorial.

Trail Guide to the Body PowerPoint
Q. I’m using your PowerPoint and can’t get the images to appear when I try and print. What do I do?
A. When the Print window appears make sure the “Color/Grayscale” option is Color even if you are not printing in color. If you select Grayscale the image will not print.

Q. I’m trying to insert a Trail Guide slide into my own presentation and it’s blank. What do I do?
A. When you Insert a new slide you’ll go to File, Find Slide and grab it from where ever you saved the Trail Guide PowerPoint. In this same “Slide Finder” window make sure the “Keep Source Formatting” box is checked.

Q. I want to edit some of the muscle labels, how can I do this?
A. In order to remove or change the text of the call out lines, you can create a text box over the word you would like changed, type what you wish and make sure the background color of the box is white. (If you would like to make it blank, simply change the background color to white with no text.)

Trail Guide in Other Languages
Q. Do you have Trail Guide to the Body in other languages?
A. Yes, there are versions in Spanish, Japanese and Korean. You can purchase the Spanish language version from our website or by visiting Paidotribo. Tools for Hearing and Visually Impaired
Q. Are there tools for students who are hearing or visually impaired students?
A. There are a few options:

1) You can download our Trail Guide Audiofile from our website. It covers 100 muscles in Trail Guide.
2) You can contact Dana Ecklund at Books of Discovery to request a .pdf version of Trail Guide to the Body. This request must be done through an academic institution.
3) For a full digital audio version contact Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic at (866) 732-3585. This CD version is only on loan and a doctor’s note is required.
