Returns will be accepted for products bought directly from Books of Discovery with the following conditions:

Prior permission to return merchandise needs to be obtained from Books of Discovery before returns will be accepted. To obtain authorization, please contact customer service listed above.

All due invoices must be paid in full before return authorization can be obtained. A 15% restocking fee also will be applied to any unauthorized return. A 15% restocking fee will be applied for returns of quantities of 50 or more of any single item from the same invoice.

Products need to be returned within 180 days of invoice date.

Products must be returned in a solid box, with sufficient packing material on all sides (newspaper is not acceptable), with a maximum of 10 books or 16 boxes of flash cards per box. DVDs, CDs and other products must be in a box to prevent damage during return shipment.

Merchandise must be received in resale condition. All DVDs must be in original packaging. Any items received in damaged condition will either be sent back to the customer at their cost, or credited at a discounted rate.

Please reference the invoice number of the original order when making the return.

A credit memo will automatically be issued to your account upon receipt. Refunds are also available upon request. Credits remaining will expire one year from the date of issue.

All orders are shipped from Boulder, Colorado. Orders must be shipped to a physical address (no P.O. boxes). Shipping cost is calculated based on the weight of your order as well as the zip code it is being shipped to.

Orders received before 1:30 pm Mountain Time will be shipped the same day. Orders are shipped only Monday through Friday (excluding major U.S. holidays). Saturday delivery is not available.

*Overnight shipping is available to customers located within the continental United States.
