Trail Guide to the Body PRODUCTS
"The textbook, student guide and flashcards work very well together and give the students multiple, reliable sources. The textbook, through use of images and detailed descriptions of palpation, assists students with different learning styles in learning the material.
The ancillary material, such as the DVD palpation video, is a great resource for students who would like to see and hear the information. The continuity that all the Trail Guide materials provide, set the stage for a productive learning environment.
The texts can also be used as a reference in our hands-on classes. The students can open the text to the muscles being worked and easily reference the bony landmarks, attachments and the general location of the muscle."

TRAIL GUIDE TO THE BODY TEXTBOOK
“Of all the texts I have used, I have never seen an anatomy text as practical and as hands-on as Trail Guide to the Body. The illustrations are superb. The bonus is the textbook facilitates the learning and palpation of anatomical structures through precise movement and light touch.”

Trail Guide to the Body Student Handbook
“The recent update of the book and the additional workbook are fantastic! It would have definitely made my life easier when I was attending massage school. As an instructor it is a dream come true to have this type of reference. We have made both the book and workbook mandatory for the students.”

Trail Guide to the Body DVD
“This is the first DVD I’ve seen that simply demonstrates identification, location and palpation of individual muscles. Since refined palpation skills are essential to the practice of massage therapy…this DVD is not to be missed.”
Lisa Mertz
Massage Therapy Journal
“This DVD supports the Trail Guide book and is an invaluable way for our students to grasp the body by showing the body and then overlaying the muscle(s) to be palpated. This skill is something that we talk about in a classroom discussion but without this visual aid some of our students struggle with visualizing the muscle; this amazing tool takes it to the next step and teaches to the massage therapist.”
